If you’re looking for Dental coverage in addition to your Health Plan, there are two options available to you.

Dental Coverage Partners

Option 1: Traditional Dental Insurance

Traditional Dental Insurance are network-based plans (HMO or PPO) that will usually cover most, or all, of your preventative care visits twice a year, including cleanings, exams, and X-rays. Dental Insurance can also lower the cost of procedures like fillings, extractions, crowns and root canals, but usually only after a waiting period.

These plans typically have a maximum benefit the plan will pay, between $1,000-1,500 annually.

Option 2: Dental Savings Plans

Dental savings plans are an alternative to Traditional Dental Insurance.   You pay a fee to be a part of a savings group (either monthly or annually), and when you go to the dentist you’ll receive services at a discounted rate, usually 20-60%.

There are no maximum limits, and no waiting periods with these plans. Dental savings plans provide a significant premium savings over tradition dental insurance plans, and start at $9.95/month (or $99/year if paid annually).
